Only Canada, Maybe...

In Canada the five door hatch and wagons are more popular than small sedans. This likely has to do with the fuel premiums we pay over America. We know that Nissan is showing the Micra Hatch at Canadian dealer meetings along with the new '14 Rogue. No confirmation either way of Micras Canadian fate, but its American journey has been nailed into its coffin.

In Canada the Micra will compete with the Mitsubishi Mirage as the only two players in the sub-subcompact segment. Expected to make its debut at the Canadian International Autoshow in February '14.

interesting news. there are very many cars that are canada exclusive. i'd think small cars like this are growing in popularity in north america in general.

not like cities are getting any bigger or less populated

To me it seems like the Sonic is within the segment range the Micra is in, maybe it will help if we have some specifications to work with.

But here's a size comparison of the Spark and Sonic

What about something like the VW Golf. That is a pretty small little hatchback right?

Yeah but it's in a whole different segment, it's like a premium hatch, nothing like what the Micra is built to be.

they are all different but around the same size.

I'd assume in terms of pricing the 3 of them will play within the same arena.

It'll be interesting to see how they compare.

we'll have to wait for the comparison test, a lot of specific things to look at when deciding which one to buy. Because it's a Nissan, people will want it, Nissan's are know to be worry-free cars.
