Micra NISMO

If we facilitate this unsubstantiated rumor long enough its possible to actually convince Nissan it was there idea all along....

Can I interest anyone in a Micra NISMO? I mean Nissan already did it with the Juke, Turbocharging the 1.6L 4 in there currently. After all 1.6 is not very far from 1.2, Maybe some torque vectoring AWD... It would have the power to weight of a motorcycle and handle like a rally car.

I cannot think of another car i want to crash so badly

If they did it to the Juke than the Micra could get it as well. The Nismo Juke is a beast. And the Micra would also be an awesome little car. Some more aggressive styling. It would be like driving around in a Mario Kart car on 150cc mode with a gold mushroom (too much gamer talk?)

I;d say its unlikely but not completely impossible.

not a terrible idea. it would just be a Nismo trim package with some fancier exterior and interior bits.

It would make the Micra look like a spec B racer :P

Not unlikely at all. So influential is this forum that Nissan already did a Micra Nismo

Micra NISMO is all this:
  • Special front bumper with the edge of the center part of the front spoiler raised to catch the wind and generate downforce
  • Special roof spoiler with optimized length and angle (with High Mount Stop Lamp) and special rear bumper with an optimized shape that reduces air resistance
  • Special front grille
  • Nismo badges (front and rear)
  • Special fender molding (front and rear)
  • Special side sill protectors
  • Signature red door mirrors (linked to the door locks)
  • Black-out door sash
  • LED hyper daytime running lights (position lamp-linked)
  • Rear fog lamps
  • Privacy glass
  • Three available exterior colors: Brilliant White Pearl, Brilliant Silver and Pure Black
  • Alcantara-covered steering wheel with red center mark (with red stitching)
  • Nismo badge (center cluster)
  • tuned special suspension (spring and shock absorber)
  • 16-inch aluminum wheels
  • Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires (205/45R16)
  • vehicle speed-sensing electric power steering with optimized assist
  • Ozone-safe full-auto air conditioner
  • Auto light system
  • Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC)
  • Special exhaust finisher (March Nismo only)
  • March NISMO S includes:
  • Nismo S badges at front and rear
  • sport bucket seat with non-slip suede-like cloth
  • instrument cluster (with 220-km/h speedometer) including tachometer with red dial and a ‘nismo' logo
  • shift knob and shift boot (with red stitching)
  • Piano-black-colored finisher (shift knob, air-conditioner intake, front power window switch bases)
  • aluminum accelerator, brake and clutch pedals
  • aluminum footrest (with ‘nismo' logo)
  • HR15DE engine
  • Special tuning computer (ECM)
  • Special exhaust system
  • Customized suspension (stabilizer)
  • Special brake system
  • Quick steering gear ratio
  • stiffened body with Special front suspension member stay, Special tunnel stay, Special rear suspension stay, Special tail crossbar

Watch out Jack...

March and Micra are the same...

Nissan March Nismo is really cool, the front end is beautiful, much better than in the first picture. The one below has what the one above needs. Even the seats in the Nismo March are amazing, i'd love to sit in them.

That is sick! What kind of engine does it have and how fast does the little guy go? Now I want to see the Nissan March Nismo race against the Juke Nismo. What a funny little high powered race that would be.

has this been actually made yet, or is it still in development?

yep. its a nice looking car. i really like how it looks in the Nismo trim. The exterior trim really makes the car look less dinky and a little more cooll

Don't like that shift knob though. Good thing its easy to replace

forced induction loves everything, they need to either add a turbocharger or supercharger ASAP
