Would they do a Micra Sedan?

Mitsubishi just came out with the Mirage sedan. As one of Micras prime competitors would Nissan answer?

I can see this happening and chances are unlike the Micra hatch, the sedan might make it into america and not only canada and mexico

Does Nissan not already have an inexpensive sedan for sale though? I am just not sure about how much a Micra sedan would really add to the Nissan model line-up. The Versa sedan only costs $12,000. Would a Micra sedan be able to be priced much lower than that?

Good point, forgot about that. I doubt they would go any cheaper than that so likely this is not for America.

well the micra platform has been paid off for years. Its possible they could go down to sub $10K territory. Although we could ask the same question about Micra, with the Versa Note priced in the low $13's how much room is there..

going by Nissans trend of pricing the sedan lower a sub $10K sedan is certainly possible...

It might be a good idea. A lot of people would be able to afford that. Do you think that a car priced under $10,000 would be profitable for Nissan? I also wonder if Canadians would be okay with the lack of features and comforts that would occur with such a cheap vehicle.

it might not but it could also be one of those cars that helps them to build a good rep with it's customers and to even get people to buy higher up models once they see what else they can get if they spend more.
