Nissan adds colour with limited edition Micra

Nissan Splashes Some Colors to New Micra Limited Edition - Carscoops

Quote:
Making its debut on the UK market is a new special version of the Nissan Micra hatchback, aptly named "Limited Edition", which features a contrasting roof color together with interior and exterior detailing.
Based on the mid-range Acenta trim level, the new Micra model can be had in the following color combinations Pacific Blue with a White roof and mirror caps; Shiraz Red with a Black roof and mirror caps, and Alabaster White with a Red roof and mirror caps.

Also included in the package are contrasting-color side sills and center caps for the 15-inch alloy wheels, a ‘Limited Edition’ badge and a chrome exhaust finisher, while the roof color is echoed inside on the air vent accents, the lower part of the gearshift column together and the floor mats.

Other standard features are the air-conditioning, cruise control and roof spoiler, with on-the-road prices starting from £12,300.

Red and black Micra doesn't look bad but the top one looks like a Fiat 500. and the bottom one looks like some Euro city car. Not that that is necessarily bad, but I think I will stick with solid colors for now thanks you. Maybe the black roof. Maybe.

the first red and white color scheme looks really good to me. great use of red on the roof, mirrors and bottom of doors.

The Micra looks like a complete rip off of the Fiat 500. There is basically no difference.

Is anyone considering paying some extra for these new paint options?

I always thought the color combo looked too familiar.
At least they made it unique to their own brand and added things to it. Nissan did a better job than Fiat.

white and red are fairly common place. If we're really going to accuse nissan of ripping off the colour scheme why not accuse them of also stealing from the English flag, Arsenal, table cloths , yamaha r6, CBR.... you see how far this can go...

I understand where you are coming from but the Fiat 500 and the Nissan Micra look identical with the red and white paint scheme. I won't judge Nissan on it, but we just have to recognize the identicalness of this situation. They certainly could have done a bit more to avoid looking quite so similar.

it happens all the time in the industry.
it might have been one of the only ways for them to make this styling work for them.
